Assignation of Examiners

Students who decide to take the exam in Legal and Constitutional History cannot choose the professor for the oral exam for their first and second attempt. Instead, students are being allocated amongst the Institute’s professors by using the students’ respective surnames. The current allocation can be found here.

For their third attempt, students may choose their examiner. The fourth – and final attempt – takes place in front of a commission (“kommissioneller Antritt”) consisting of three professors.

Please note that the exam in Legal and Constitutional history as well as the exam literature are in German.
