In late February and early March 2026, postdoc researcher Fiammetta Bonfigli taught a seminar at the School of Law of Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It was her third teaching engagement in the framework of her appointment as collaborating professor in the university’s Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Criminal Sciences.
Entitled “State Crimes and Transitional Justice”, the seminar was part of the Summer School organized by the Graduate Program in Criminal Sciences. It focused on contemporary efforts to address past injustices in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina.
