Module examination in Legal and Constitutional History

The module examination in "Recent Legal and Constitutional History" is an oral module examination. It covers the history of constitutional law as well as the history of private law. It does not cover criminal law history.

For students enrolled in the 2017 version of the Diplomstudium curriculum (expiring), the requirement for admission to the oral module examination in modern legal and constitutional history is having passed the StEOP.

For students enrolled in the 2025 curriculum, there is no admission requirement.

We recommend attending both lectures and practical exercises in constitutional history and private law history to prepare for the exam!

For information on historical source material and bonus questions, see Examination procedure.
