Exam procedure (presence)
- The candidates are tested one by one.
- The two subject areas are examined one after the other ( so 2 questions constitutional history - one question from before 1867, one from 1867 -, 2 questions private law - one question history of science, one history of institutions).
- There must be at least basic knowledge in both sub-areas, i.o. non-knowledge in one sub-area cannot be compensated by particularly good knowledge in the other sub-area.
- One of the topics will be examined in the form of a source passage. This will be dropped if there is an exercise certificate (Steop-PÜ or Exercise Constitutional/Private Law History) from the subject (please send collective certificate before the exam by mail to ilse.reiter-zatloukal@univie.ac.at).
- In case of proof successful visit of another course from the subject (with the exclusion of the Repetitorium), there is the following bonus: The candidate can reject one of the questions without giving any reason and will get another one from the same subfield. The rejected question is not included in the final grade.
- If the exam result already is negative after three questions, no further questions will be asked, since for a positive diploma exam grade the main part of the questions asked must be positive.
