Introduction

Michelle Albani studied law and philosophy at Goethe University Frankfurt and then worked at international law offices. In her dissertation project, she explores the transformation of the Albanian legal system. The focus of her interest includes Albanian legal history, legal systems in totalitarian regimes, post-communist transformation of legal systems, and philosophical issues regarding law. She is also pursuing a Master’s degree in philosophy at the University of Vienna.
