Introduction

Zheng Li earned her Bachelor of law at Tongji University, Shanghai, in 2014 and worked as a judge’s assistant at the Intermediate People’s Court of Nanjing Municipality, China. In 2017, she completed a Maîtrise of Chinese studies with a specialty in history at Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales, Paris, and in 2019, a Master of history and civilisations at École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS), Paris. She began doctoral studies at EHESS in 2019 and at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory in Frankfurt in 2020.
